"Skank To The Riddim" is the first official release from Step Aside Records. This compilation is a true tribute to modern ska in the new millenium. The first aim of the record is to give the listener a variety of the sounds of ska. The second is to introduce the audience to a width of bands over different countries. But the the true aim is to make people dance. So... ...put on the CD, put on your skanking shoes, white shirt and a black tie, turn up the music and GO WILD! "Skank To The Riddim" is compiled by Step Aside Records & One Step Beyond Magazine. Step Aside Records has it's goal to promote ska music throughout the world. Step Aside should be a forum for new talents, and old geezers. Music is not all. The company also works with merchandizing ska-products with Step Aside Productions. Step Aside Records is based in Sweden. One Step Beyond Magazine released its first issue in 1996 and has since then covered the ska-scene with interest and dedication. |
